Hello there folks, I have a little problem with a large angelfish at
the pet shop... we have him in an isolation tank in our back room...
he has what appears to be miniscule grains of rice stuck all over him.
They are white, oblong, and probably about the size of this dash " -
". For those of you with huge monitors, about 1/8 of an inch. We've
thrown every medication we have at it and it has had no effect....
antifungals, antibacterials, antibiotics, antiparasitics... jungle,
mardel, aquarium pharmaceuticals, you name it. Aside from these
spots, the angelfish appears to be in good health and has a hearty
appetite. I've looked in every disease reference we have and haven't
been able to identify this problem, any advice that you guys could
offer me would be appreciated.

I don't know anything about fish diseases, but I do know that a picture is
worth a 1000 words. If you have any way to get digital pics and post them
it would probably help a lot.

No, it is not Argulus, aka fish lice.
