I will say, mushrooms regularily shrink and expand. I have several
Ricordia and they vary in size dependant on their mood, I imagine.:)

I have two types a plain green mushroom and a furry green mushroom. while on
one side the ricordia are doing brilliantly the rest of the tank is dying
away slowly. the plain green mush are always shrivelled up and glow
slightly under the actinic lights but the ricordia are flourishing and
taking over their side of the tank. the clown that I have loves them and
has taken them as a anemone.
