I need some trust worthy vendors for freshwater supplies. I have dealt
in Marine tanks for years, but freshwater is new to me. I dont want to
get taken, so I thought maybe some of you would list your favorite
online stores. Thank you

I've never had a problem with bigalsonline.com, and they
frequently have the best prices as well.

drsfostersmith.com have very nice dead-tree catalogs;
I think you may have to place an order to get on
their mailing list, but it's worth it IMO.
Prices aren't the best there, but they're nice to
deal with.

My usual MO is to find something that seems to fit
my needs by reading the DrFS catalog, then finding it
at bigalsonline.com for price.

There are quite a few but it really is best to check around on prices
as there is a lot of varience.
You can also go to godaddy and put in the url and see how long the
company has had thier website which can tell you if they have been
around a little while or are brand new.

Marine depot
premium aquatics
drs fosters and smith
are just a few ones
