I have a Red Volitan that I have had for about 6 months. A few days
ago I noticed that her top jaw looked a big irregular, but she was
eating fine. I had heard about Lionfish dislocating their jaw, so I
figured that was the case and that as long as she could eat, she was
okay. Now, she is interesting in food, but cannot open her mouth to
eat. Also, there is a red area (looks like blood in the jaw) on the
underside of her jaw. My LFS thinks it might be bacterial, but I am
not sure. Can anyone help me? This is a beautiful fish and I would
really hate to lose her. Thank you.
