I've seen a few positive reviews for Nitra-Zorb, and since I'll be in
and out of town over the holidays I thought I'd pick one up, just for
extra help.
Thing is, I can't figure out how on earth to set it up.
The instructions say "place in your filter" but I find that placing it
in my filter is nearly impossible because it's so huge! I have an
aquaclear 200.
Any suggestons on how to make this work? Do I need to remove some of
the filter material from my filter? or is it just too small?
I'd be interested to hear how those who were successful with it set it
up.
Thanks

Hello - It comes in two sizes, although I have only seen the larger one (7
oz) in stores. Perhaps you could buy one of those small media bags and
split it as you said. I have been using it for a couple of months and it
does seem to make a noticeable difference. HTH

to ready fish for vacation.
dont feed, clean gravel extremely well
start dropping temp of tank 1-2oF per day to cool it off
dont feed for 2 days before leaving, do big water change
dont have anybody feed the fish, dont leave any food in the tank.. especially not one
of those "blocks" that GF tear apart.

Get yourself an extra $2 corner box filter and put it in that. (That's what
I did).
