I'm Currently use "Reef Pure" Calcium-Iodine-Strontium from Warner
Marine Research.

Anyone have better recomendations?

What is the best kind to use? I have heard alot about reef complete.

What are others using? Do I need to add more then
Calcium-Iodine-Strontium? I do also add plankton.
What About
Complete reef?

Other brands?

I only add Calcium & Alkalinity to my tank each day. For
years it was ESV's B-Ionic 2-part daily, but now I have a
Calcium Reactor and it does it around the clock.

No other supplements are dosed in my tanks.

Hi Richard,

It came with a LifeReef calcium reactor, which I run with a
Milwaukee pH controller. It never was difficult as the
controller does the job for me.

Normally when you add food to your tank like pallet and such, it contain
iodine. Add iodine only if you test for it and to see to determine if you
need to add it. In short, only add thing if you test for it.

this is true! and im gona do it again :D

but either Rick got the idea and isnt dosing any of that stuff!

or rick decided i donno what im typing and is still doing it :D

a Ca reactor is kinda on topic to the post, it says calcium up there in the
subject, though this post isnt :D

either way at least I have not seen a follow up post, if there was one, id
love to respond but cant :(

Thanks for the info. I have not had time to reply.
current 125 gal tank

I do add
Iodine 5ml twice a week (sm Dose)
Ca 10ml twice a week 1/2 of what is recommended and my CA level is
good.
Strontium 10ml (dont know how to test-DO I need to?)

Is a Ca reactor really benificial? I thought just adding a weekly dose
is all that is needed.
