Hi all
Just wondering if it's safe to use china (teacups, etc...) as
decorations in a fish tank? Is there anything in the glazes that can
leach out & harm the fish?
TIA

The last time this subject came up, the consensus seemed to be that other
than metals (which are sometimes used on the outside, such as lead, tin,
brass and especially copper), that there would be no problem. The glaze
is inert (food safe, you do drink out of it). Any lead in the actual
glaze was thought to be of insignificance. Now you decide what
credibility you want to give to a newsgroup community's 'consensus' in an
area of limited expertise ;~).

That's what I figured... but thought it safe to check with the experts
first. :-)
