add tiger barb to larger tank?

I have a tiger barb in a 5g all by it's lonesome. Can I add it to my
26g (keyholes, gold ram and electric yellows)?

you need more tigers, (roughly 5-8). one in solitude will only sit in the
corner, nose down, pouting, untill he dies.

I wouldn't advise it. I mixed 8 tigers with my africans and one by
one I'd find the Tigers floating dead. I think they just get picked
on too much...
