Has anyone tried putting Parrot Cichlid in slight brackish tank? I have a
large tank (125 gal) that I am keeping Monos, but would love to have a
couple of Parrot cichlids.
Thanks for reading.

If you're talking about hybrid Blood Parrots, then, No! Parrots are a
freshwater fish. http://www.bloodparrots.co.uk/forum/
If you're talking about the other Parrot cichlid (Hoplarchus psittacus) then
I don't know, but probably not.

If we are talking about the twisted, red/orange/brown crossbred
cichlid mutants they will not survive in brackish water.
Why anyone would want them is a mystery to me - they always look so
unhappy rather like 'fancy' goldfish or pekinese dogs
