Hi,
Can adult Monos live in freshwater? If so, what kind of water?
Thanks

I've kept adult argenteus (3 years old?) in hard water. It doesn't seem
to make much difference when they are juveniles.

you can get to survive for a little while. But they won't be healthy and
they won't live out their whole lifespan. they really need brackish water
to thrive. You also have to watch out what kinds of fish you put in with
them. They are very good predators and will eat fish that you wouldn't
think they could because of their size.
