Hi All, I am new to the group.

This is my second reef tank. The first, of 15 years ago, I took all the
wrong short cuts, and had all the bad advise one could gather.

Today, I think I'm going it right. 75 gallons, adding live rock slowly,
sump filter (oceanic), Berlin protein skimmer, 15% water changes weekly,
chemistries are normal, and I just started dripping Kalkwasser (something I
never thought I would do).

So, why is my little colt coral, which I understand is the easiest to
maintain, falling over and looking like death?

Too much light? I had moved him into some shade, and that helped for a
while.

I have a leather toad stool that is doing magnificently!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Scott

What do you mean by too much light?
