I'm going to be switching over from a canister filter to a wet/dry filter in
my 46 gallon reef/fish tank and was wandering what the best way is to get
the siphoning action going in the over flow box once it's all set up??
Thanks--Susan :)

Susan,
If its a hang over the edge siphon box with the plastic u-tube its pretty
easy to get it going. Install the box and before putting the u tube in slide
a small piece of tubing like the kind for airstones into the tube. Use
enough tubing that you can still get to the end of it easily after its
installed. Once its installed its just a matter of sucking the air out
enough to get the water flowing on its own over the bend. Slowly slide the
tubing out of the installed U tube and your finished. Be careful as you suck
the air out as sal****er from the tank isn't the greatest tasting.

Thanks for the info! That helps :)
p.s.--I'll be extra carefull as sal****er isn't in my diet ;-)
