I had a bad case of black/dark green algae growth and soaked the plastic
plants in bleach, then rinsed and rinsed, ETC. But I am concerned because
there is a slight odor of bleach still remaining.
An 'expert' from Petco said that plastic plants absorb some of the bleach
and that I should not use them.
Any help from this newsgroup? Or is this 'expert' correct?

Boil them? ALternatively soak them in a bucket of water with lots of
De-chlor in it for a day or three.
