I was wondering how hard it is going to be to convert my 29 g sal****er tank
over to my new 55g tank. I just purchased a bigger tank and was wondering if
people had some tips on how top transfer my 29g tank over without killing
anything? Any pointers would be a great help. Can I do the transfer in one
day?

Yes, it can be moved in a day. How old is the substrate in
the 29g now? If it is under 6 months old, you can move that
to the new tank. If it is older, it would be better to
set up new sand and take a couple of cups of the current
substrate to seed the new tank.
Move over all the same water, LR and creatures, and add more
sal****er that was mixed for 24 hours, matching
temperature and salinity exactly.
If you want to read the gory details of how I transferred my
29g and 55g to my 280g, here is the lengthy thread on Reef
Central.

Feel free to skip ahead to Day 13, probably around page 26?
