I have a SeaClear 125 acrylic tank that I would like to retorfit with overflow(s).
The dimensions are 72" long, 18 deep, 20 high and all the plexiglass is 3/8". The
factory outfitted version of this tank has two corner overflows with 6x6" boxes
and 1" drains with 3/4" returns.
Drilling the bottom for bulkhead fittings seems easy enough. Acquiring the boxes
and getting them bonded in place does not. Also, the top plate is not cut out over
the corners. Although I would love to have the overflow box setups, possibly with
durso standpipes, this route does not seem feasible.
What options can be recommended that will be effective and reliable? (And
hopefully quiet.)
