It sounds like your tank is a bit polluted with waste. This causes ph drops
like that. What is your current maintenence schedule?
Anyway, to get back on track you will need to do several water changes in a
week. Use a good gravel vacuum and thoroughly clean the gravel. Just do a
third or so of the gravel at a change, siphon out about 50% of the water
during each of these vacuumings. 3 changes in one week and all of the
gravel should be fairly clean. If the water isn't running clear from the
gravel then keep on doing it until it does. Make sure you clean under any
decorations also. Then get a regular cleaning schedule going of a 40% water
change every week. And clean the gravel thoroughly each time. Depending on
the fish load and feeding schedule you may be able to slow the changes down
a bit, but you will want to get in a habit of doing it without fail if you
aren't already.

Sometimes LFS/LPS will sell a product, that is not needed. Strange but
true. Anyhow, post back the types of fish, and your ph readings. In most
case's a stable ph reading is more important than one you keep
adjusting. The chemicals are sometime worse than leaving the ph alone.
