View Full Version : Sick Black Moor

I have a black moor that has suddenly become sick.

He is kept with another moor and a few other goldfish in a very large tank.
They have got along fine for months now.

Just today I noticed that he seemed to be "thinner" than the other moor and
very lethargic. He just seems to want to lay on the bottom and looks very
weak. At feeding time, he didn't come and get any, whereas they all love
feeding time usually.

I'm wondering if this could be some sort of parasite or bacterial problem
since all other other fish, including the other moor are fine. He has no
other obvious signs such as spots, sores, etc.

I have done a water change this evening to try and freshen up the water.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Probably going to need to feed medicated food. It does sound like he may have
an internal problem. He could also possibly have parasites, so an external
medicine maybe required - for this you will need to quarantine the fish.
