Why are arrow crabs so stupid! another one died from the flow of a power
head, keeps getting stuck on the infeed,,,,hay maybe its me thats stupid...
I keep doing it!

Do you have the intake protector/guard/strainer?
Most powerheads come with one in the box... just use it.

Are you sure it was crab itself, not its molt (empty shell) instead?
You know, crabs shed external skeleton, maybe this skeleton was
captured floating in the water current and the crab, bigger after
last molting, is still sitting somewhere between rocks ?

No kidding. I thought my beloved horseshoe crab had expired when I
found his carcass. I was sure surprised when a bigger one magically
appeared a week later.
