Problem with Wiggles

Hi Guys,

We moved and have not had much time to look at the fish.
Wiggles gill covers seem to have turned outward and there
seems to be something growing on the gills themselves.
I don't seem to be able to find anything that resembles this
problem on the web. Any ideas what it could be and a
treatment?

what sort of "something", just out of interest? I'm afarid I'm too new
to be likely to be a lot of help myself, but more detail would be
interesting...

It is a pink growth on the gills. It is starting to protruded from
the gill covers.
