I have a very, very pregnant Zebra Danio, and I was just wondering
something. I have a seperate 13 gallon tank that is currently set up for
pregnant Fancy Guppys and Platys, with Dr. Wellfish's aquarium salt
added. If I place the pregnant Zebra Danio into that tank, will the
salted water cause any ill effects to the pregnant Zebra Danio?~Dean.

Strictly speaking the danio is not pregnant. Egglayers are oviparous,
producing eggs which are externally fertilized and develop outside the
body. This distinction makes the danio's unfertilized eggs less
sensitive to changes in the environment, so I don't think the salt would
affect the eggs. Whether the salt affects the danio is a question of
degree, how salty is it?

Only a little more than a tablespoon of aquarium salt, in a 13=BD gallon
tank, one that's got got a bunch of Elodea densa, to help them all feel
secure.~Papa Red.

That quantity will not cause *any* problem.
