Hi everyone ! ;-)

I was cleaning my filter sponges out today and noticed small dead bloodworm
looking things in the pores of the sponge.

I have absomluterly NO idea what these are and i dont feed bloodworm..
Can anyone clear my mind on this?

Probably bloodworms (non-biting midge larvae). See my reply in the
"what is this insect" thread.

Not all insect larvae do, e.g. maggots don't.

However, it is possible it's an aquatic earthworm, aka "tubifex".
They're also quite common in aquaria.
