Ok he definitely looks like a cherry shrimp and it shows one next to a
moulted shell, so maybe it is a shrimp then.

But cherry shrimp don't get anywhere nar two inches. Only
ammanos get large.

The only big shrimp I can think of are the filter feeding
ones. Do the front "claws" look like fans?
