**Sorry if this posts twice, first post didnt come up so I am sending again,
sorry**
I have a 36gal. sal****er aquarium with roughly 45lbs LR. I have only
had the tank for about a month and the heater that I have, which my LFS gave
me, isnt doing the job. It is the kind with the adjustment knob on the top
that has a plus and a minus sign and you have to keep making slight
adjustments to try to get the temperature where you want it to be. This
just isnt working- I keep having temp fluctuations of 3-4 degrees and even
worse, just as I thought I had it figured out and it was holding at 77 F for
about two or three days, wham, wake up today and its down to 73F.
My question is this: can anyone suggest a more reliable heater that I
can use, preferably one where you can dial in the temperature you want the
tank water to be, that will keep the temp constant? I have been looking
around at different models, and keep going back to the titanium heaters w/
LCD monitors. Are these any good? Does anyone else use these?
I really appreciate any help that can be provided.
