(I'm assuming you know water is 2F degrees less than room temperature)

Uh yeah that's a tad chilly for Bettas. Mine are 70-78. I shoot for 74
but it's hard to regular temperature here. I've neevr seeen them spawn
below 80 though.

BUt, 63-33 is ideal for some relaly f'ing expsnive killifish. All
the diapterons, herzogi, joergenscheeli etc will only doo well
and breed at that temperature. A good price from a friendly hobbyost
is $20/pr for thse things, I've seen them go for 4X that on aquabid
and joergenscheeli has reached $300/pr at AKA auctiona and regularly
goes at $100/pr.
