Potential problems in high alkalinity

Hi, guys
I'm maintaining a 10G nano cube. Now, everything is normal except high
alkalinity.( about 15 dKH)
I'm just wondering what kind of problem can happen, and what is the possible
reason.
Does high alkalinity cause a precipitation problem?
