Came home to the funniest scene. Somehow a cranefly had managed to find
its way under the cover of my betta's tank. Squishy was trying SO hard
to figure out how to eat what was obviously a new food item but it just
wouldn't fit in his mouth. Every time the fly's leg broke the water
Squishy struck at it, trying but failing to eat the giant fly.

I let the cranefly go, and fed poor Squishy some of his regular food.
I'm sure it wasn't nearly as tasty as the cranefly would have been, had
Squishy only been Oscar-sized.

HAHAHA!!! thats cute!!!
My betta has started to do the most strangest thing....
Ever since i got my snail (who loves gf flakes!) i'd feed my betta first,
then drop in some flake for my snail....I walked into my room to see my
betta snap at the food. .....then he put the not yet flake in his mouth and
swam down to the snail......but to his frustration the flake would only
float back up....he would do this 3 or 4 times until he got some food to the
snail....

Do i have a betta or is it lassie...hmm....
