Do goldfish eat blood worms?
Do they enhance color?

Thanks,

I read somewhere that using dark-colored gravel enhances their color as they grow (because they adapt to their surroundings?)
I wonder if that is why fish stores use dark colored gravel.

Really?
My Betta is kinda picky, but if he likes something, he will eat a lot of
it! I've had to try to cut back on his feedings while still trying to
feed enough for the snails.

My betta is obese. :-P

Am thinking about trying peas for the snails as I don't think the Betta
will eat them.

That's a good idea, thanks!
The betta never eats off of the floor.

Bloodworms are his favorite food! The snails really like them too. :-)

Funny how the same species of fish can vary from individual to
individual......

My betta also likes flakes and the floating betta pellets.

But he likes to "feed" squishy my snail...or i think thats what he does...he
picks up the food and swims it down to the snail....very odd i know....but
its happening all the time now!

At least you have named your Betta. ;-)
I've been tossing around ideas but have not settled on one yet...

That is neat behavior! Any chance at taking a picture of it???

<lol> Macro with auto-focus if you can get thru the glass...
It's a real trick! I took some fish pics at the pet store the other day
but have not processed them yet. I think some are going to be pretty
good. I wanted them for photoshopping!

My bettas eat baby snails, which is fine because they reproduce so often!
