My yellow tail damsel has a popeye. He also had a few bumps here and there
on his skin with no visible black or white spots. He seems healthy and eats
normal. I currently have him in a 10 gal hospital tank with copper. Is this
enough?

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who once said, "I drank
what?".

First, get the copper out -- copper does not cure pop-eye, it causes it. Other
causes are bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, but the usual cause is some
sort of poison. Excessive aeration can also cause it.

Treatment suggested in "The Marine Aquarium in Theory and Practice" is to lower
the temperature as much as the fish will tolerate and eliminate any aeration.
Cure is not guaranteed. You should not treat the fish for an infection without
some other signs of the infection type (in other words, don't throw in a bunch
of Maracyn unless you're sure it's an infection).

Drink up, Socrates -- it's all-natural.
