I had a couple small Nassarius snails toolin' around in my 75reef,
and I like the way the stir up the sand, so I stopped by the LFS last
week and picked up 15 of them. A buck a pop, large ones, shell almost
black, which struck me as odd, but they were Nassarius in every
respect. When I placed them in my tank today they began tearing
off...until the Coral Beauty noticed them.

The ******* ate every one he could catch. Hammered at them until they
flipped over and ate the damn things. I think 4 survived long enough
to get under a rock or burrow into the sand. Sure ticked me off.

Sorry to hear that. Ive had problems with coral beauties in the past,
they look really nice fish but are really agressive. Maybe for a FO
tank. I use Nassaurius snails and they have been brilliant but i only
use the small ones, they burrow really quickly into the sand and only
come up when theres food around.
