I've been looking through google for info on hitchhikers and so far have
not found what I've got. I am guessing some kind of tube worm that has
been hiding in the live rock until now. (the tank is now 3 mos. old )
There are two of them, but I am not sure if it's two seperate creatures
or one with two or more tentacles.
It is too far into the rock to get a pic, but I would describe it as a
brown pipecleaner with a mouth that snaps shut sometimes. The mouth
appears to have 3 or 4 "leaves" that close together.
Not a lot to go on, but maybe someone has an idea?
