Hi, I have just purchased a Birob 30ltr and have put my 5 year old goldfish
in it (it's been in a standard fish bowl since i got it). The instructions
say that I should wait 28 days before adding another fish, is this neccesary
or can I add another one after about a week?

cheers.

you wont have any room to add another goldfish....Humanely it is at least
10G (37litres) per goldfish. They do get massive (i have 9 inch goldies that
are 2.5 years old.) Putting them in anything smaller will stunt thier growth
and make them more seceptible to disease...
Please don't hurt your goldfish. If you give it the space it needs, your
goldfish will live at least 10 years
yeah, i am aware that your fish is 5....i have 5 year old that can't fit in
the size tank you specify....because i gave them at least 10 gallons
(37L),,,,trust me....they are happy if they are put in the right
environment...

i hope you understand that Im not being picky....its just in the interest in
your beautiful goldfish

That should keep you going!!!
I just hope you do whats best for your fish....

Good luck with your fish....you can find a larger rectangle tank for really
cheap too....

Bi-orbs are much better for small tropical fish, not goldfish. I've seen
the biorb packaging and it shows 3 or 4 goldfish in the tank - that is
pure cruelty and misguides people into thinking it is ok.

10 Gallons per goldfish. 20 per common/comet/shubunkin goldfish. 100 for koi.
