Yay! Congrats to the new papa!
It's always exciting to see the little ones surviving. Just watch them to make sure the adult fish don't eat them. I'm not familiar with bristlenose catfish, so I don't know if they are likely to eat the fry. It seems like a lot of fish will, just because the fry will fit in their mouth.

Good luck with your new babies!

What are yout tank parameters? ie to what do you attribute your success.

Well all i do is add rainwater which has a neutral ph
and clean my filter once a week
i do'nt check my water paramaters at all......
About the only thing i do is keep the ocasional eye on the temp of the
water just to make sure my heaters working fine..
I do a gravel clean about every 4 months but only around the ornaments
not the whole lot........
I know that sounds crazy but its true..
It's only a two foot tank which i sourced some nice old cycled water
from my other aquarium which i've had for years and topped it up with
our lovely rainwater.......
I only cycled it for 3 days with a couple of guppies.....
I think i put one mature male and 3 mature females in there
along with a fake rock cave which the male hangs out in.
and two mangrove hollow logs for the females......
and wammo success i couldn't be prouder.......
The local readers mart comes out tomorrow so im hunting for a 3foot
tank to raise them in......it's all very exciting and leaves me with a
smile on my face every time i think about it.......
I'm excited...........

Apparently the male guards the eggs and keeps water flowing over the
eggs to stop fungus attack so i attribute all mu success to my mighty
male........
Like i said one day i just looked in there and there they were papa
obviously is a good one at that.......
