Hi all

I've recently bought some fancy guppies. The females are already
"pregnant". Question is: If I now put female A with male A, can I be
sure that subsequent litters (not the one the female is carrying now)
is from a mating with male A? Is there a way to make use of these
non-virgin females in matings where the offspring will be from a male
of my choice? Thanks.

You've got to separate the females and males for a few months. The
females store sperm so they will produce the next few batches of young
from the non-chosen male as well as male A. Once they're out of stored
sperm and done bearing, they will slim back down and lose the gravid
spot, and then you can control the pairings.
