Salarias fasciatus (Lawnmower blenny) is said to be a good diatom (and algae
of course) eater. Since is also a cheap fish i think it's wort a try

might try replacing the bulbs if they are old. and a better skimmer IMO
would help out. also are you overfeeding? if so cut back a little.
