Ive been moving from a fish only to a full reef tank. Alls going well and I
have a few anemones and startfish etc. No corals yet.
Are corals easier to maintain or anemones? Seems every reef tank photo I see
is full of corals and they are damn expensive specially the big ones! If
they are easy to maintain I think ill go in for plenty as they look awesome
but wanted to get some advice here..
Thanks,
Ajay

Corals are, in general, not easy to keep. Other reefers will
disagree, but I will persist. Most of them require rock-stable water
parameters and high lighting intensity, and many of them have special
feeding requirements, such as phytoplankton, or must even be
carefully target-fed. Each coral specimen should be carefully
researched to determine it's needs. Or the reverse, determine the
parameters your system stabilizes at, and find/inquire about corals
that match this environment. This is eminently easier and less
frustrating.
