In my mind, snails will eat dirty stuff and keep the tank clean. But I
am not seeing any document mention that.

Any ideas?

Thanks

A snail's diet consists primarily of algae. Some snails, such as
Nassarius snails, will eat almost anything.

Thanks.
I saw some document said that daphnia helps feel both snail and fish in
the aquarium. I am wondering where in the US to buy daphnia.

Thanks.

There's plenty of room for all of God's creatures. Right next to the
mashed potatoes.

Petco, PetSmart, pretty much any fish store will have one kind or another of
daphnia.

I use astrea, cerith, turbo snails and blue legged marine hermits to
clean the glass and prevent detritus build up. Works like a charm.

I accept Malaysian Trumpet snails in my tanks, and they apple-pie everything. I like them, but they brand fast. 2 months ago I started with 9, and now I accept over a thousand amid my 4 tanks. If you overfeed, they will brand absolutely fast, and they don't lay eggs.
