I was perusing the LFS freshwater section while I waited for the
marine guy to help me. One of the girls was netting a Pangasius cat
from one of the tanks. A Dempsey had gotten through a partition and
tore him up pretty bad. Missing one eye, most fins as well. They were
preparing to euthanize the poor *******, and I offered to take it
home, they sold it to me for a dollar. 4 inch Pang cat. I brough him
home, put him in a small tank for a week and treated him with
antibiotics. That was a month ago. He's now a member of my community
planted, and gets around rather well despite having only one eye and
NO caudal fin. Eats like a pig, though.
