View Full Version : The case of the disappearing Guppies

Ok so the first one I put down to a very small nitrite spike caused by the
amount of dead plant debris after the Ich treatment.....the second one I'm
bewildered. Water quality is now good - 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, around 5
nitrate and back to it's normal pH of 7.5

But.....another of my fantail guppies has vanished. I never found the first
one and I can't find any evidence of the second one. He was there feeding as
normal this morning but tonight has vanished without a trace....

Any ideas?

Gill

Not sure I've ever noticed any athletic tendencies with the Guppies....some
of the others maybe but not them.

Yes, I've got a cat but he treats the tanks as "cat TV" and has no
access....
