Hi there,

A few months down the road I am planning on starting a 40 gallon breeder
tank for corals/anemones/mushrooms. (Currently have a 55 FOWLR) I've been
reading about different types of lighting on google and other sites.

I plan to get a PC fixture and select species suited to that light level.
How many and what wattage would be good for a 40 gallon to keep soft
corals, mushrooms, anemones? Reading through a google search yields
varying opinions as to what amounts of light will support which
creatures. What's the latest consensus?

Thanks,

Mark

I think wattage is not as important as luminescence. It needs to have
certain brightness per square inch.
I forgot what the magic number is.
