Hi!

Ok I was at my LFS on wed last week and saw the most beautiful
Copperband Butterfly... Its about the same size as my Maroon Clown so I
thought I'd ask the guy if it was compatible... The shop guy said it
was fine and that it would hold its own against my clowns (See previous
thread about my vicious clown!)and would be good for my tank size....

So I bought him... Got him home and sure enough he held his own and
they are happy...

BUT he hides ALL the time! I have maybe seen him a couple of times...
He constantly darts away if I come anywhere near the tank... Is it
possible its shy? Scared stiff? Is it normal for fish to hide a few
days? He is, at least, feeding as I found him doing that last night but
am concerned I'll have the only fish tank that will look like it has no
fish in!! ;o)

Any thoughts?

Give him a time to aclimate to the tank, new conditions etc.
It should be fine in about a week or two.
