Hi Ajay,
Your 20K MH's are fine provided they are a big enough
wattage, you need a total of about 1,000watts with a metal halide every
2' along the length of the tank, metal halides have a foot print of
about 4' square i.e. 2'x2', your anemones will have died from lack of
light intensity and possibly other causes like the tank is to new and
not yet mature, or nitrate poisoning if you are using bio filtration
like, bio wheels, wet&dry, canisters etc. How much live rock have you
got?, what is your substrate?, how long has the tank been set up?, Do
you use tap water?, do you know your water parameters, like PH,
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Phosphate, Alk., Calcium, specific gravity?.
Do you have a protein skimmer? what temperature do you run at ?, what
is the wattage of each of the two MH you have ?, what are the tank
dimensions ?, what is your total water flow in galls per hour ?. sorry
for all the questions but they are necessary for you to get
constructive advice otherwise answers will be wild guesses. Oh and list
your tank inhabitants please, 'regular assortment', 'a few carpet
Anemones' is far to vague.
