Hey everyone! I am new at this so bear with me. The replies to the posts I
have read are excellent so far so I think this is the right mix of aquarists
to ask. My question is...I have a local fish store who is selling a crab
called a "Monkey Crab" it is brown with some black wavy stripes through the
whole body and it has a fan-looking tail?!? that tucks under the body. Also
has some blue highlights throughout the body. This makes for an interesting
decorative crab, but I wonder if it will have problems with the boxer shrimp
I have or with with a Mithrax Crab that I have...this is a 10 gallon
nano-reef and is well established and has many soft and hard coral species
and plenty of live rock (20 lbs or so) and live sand so I dont think it will
upset its habitat because of the multitudes of tunnels and hidey holes in
the rockwork. Any previous run-ins with this type of crab would be
appreciated as I have purchased it (still at store on hold) already. No one
there seems to have kept one before, but the store owner said it should be
fine...any clues on its aggressiveness or appetite? You folks seem like you
know way more than that store owner.

Thanks
