amazon sword yellowing question

Tank specs:
90gal
256watts t-8 fluorescent(6700K bulbs 1 month old)
140lbs eco-complete(3-5" deep)
aquaclear 110
3 baby guppies
3 octos
1 common pleco
1 albino inca snail(or something like it)
lights run for 13hrs a day on a timer
Ammonia and nitrites=0
Nitrates <10ppm


I am still fairly new to planted tanks and about a month or two
ago I setup my 90 gal tank with some plants. The tank has mostly
easy plants like hornwort,anubias, tropical sunset hygro, and
watersprite. It also started out with 2 medium sized amazon
swords which I now have 6 of them. However one of the two
baby plants I separated soon after I put them in the tank is starting
to get yellow leaved on the newest leaves of the plant. One of
the two original plants has one of the older leaves also starting
to yellow. I checked here:

for info on what I may be missing but since it is in the new AND
old leaves I can't tell(plus I'm all new to this). I know that swords
are heavy root feeders and I thought the eco-complete would take
care of them without any problems. Also my watersprite,java moss,
and hornwort would pearl constantly for the first two weeks or so
but then trailed off.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so I know what to look for
or what I can do to solve my problem?

What is your water change schedule? Have you been adding any plant
supplements?

If I had to guess from what you have supplied I would say you aren't
changing the water often enough or aren't changing enough each time.

I started out with about 10gal/week then went to 15gal last week.
I did a 45 gal(50%) water change tonight so I guess I will see how
that goes. I don't dose with anything although when I get the correct
bulbs for my power compact setup I was planning on starting to dose
with about 1/2 or 1/4 of the seachem dosing guide. Hopefully it's just
a water change issue. I will let check back after this weekend when I
get back into town.

Try supplementing iron, trace, and and KNO3. Your tank is very lightly
stocked and the swordplant may be simply starving.

ASs are root feeders. Whatever nutrients the AS may be lacking - it needs
to get them throug the roots. I don't know what "eco complete" consists of,
but I suspect the nutrients are there?
My recollection of 90 gal tanks is that they are tall. Might the light
reaching the AS not be enough?

My understanding is that Eco complete has some trace elements and iron
for root feeders, but not macro fertilizers. If there are macros in the
water column, Eco complete should absorb them by ion exchange and make
the ferts available to the swordplants but they still have to be added.
You can use clay ball fertilizers or PlantTabs at swordplant roots but
I've never had to. The watersprite, java moss and hornwort all feed
from the water column, so the Eco complete won't even help them.
