Are there any host anenomes that are less prone to wandering across
the tank and trashing everything along the way???

if your anemone is happy with his/her conditions (lighting, water flow, food
sourse) then he/she will stay put and not wonder around.

IME E Quads (AKA bubble tip, bulb tip) move less than most. My half
dozen have never moved once they settled in and as long as I put them in
a high light medium flow spot they tend to stay put once I place them.

I realise this. But I had an occasion where I placed it in what I
THOUGHT was a good place, and the anenome decided otherwise, trampling
around for a day or three until he found someplace he liked better
(approximately 4 inches away from where he started). After he found
his place, he has been there almost a year, but he left a trail of
destruction behind him. (This happened to be a Condy).

condy's are perticular about light, current and food more so then some other
anemone's IME. my best guess is one of these thigns changed after the year
(more then likely food supply) im sure he has grown and is looking for more
suitable liking. the bigger size may need more light, different current
path as the growth has altered this.............etc.....etc......
