As above.
I was wondering what kind of pump/powerhead could be used ?
Also, I know my pond UV is different from my tank UV in that the pond 9w is
for green water, and my 15w tank UV is for pathogens but how do they differ
?

Not a lot.
UV tubes come in different wavelengths.
250-270nm tubes are used to kill things.
280nm to 400nm is the type of UV you get from sunbathing.
It's broken up into 3 classes:
UVA 315 - 400 nm usually found in black light or tanning equipment
UVB 280 - 315 nm causes sunburn
UVC 200 - 280 nm damaging to exposed cells
You tubes are probably set close to 254nm.
So if its designed to kill things in a pond it will work for a tank.
So if both tubes use the same wavelength (it should be marked on the
tubes or in the manuals) then It's the length of time the water is
exposed to the UV light that determines how much is killed in it.
So a 15W tube will kill things faster as it's a more powerful light. So
you may get away with a faster water flow past it.
Generally the slower the flow rate the better the water is sterilised.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UV
for more details on UV.
P.S.
Remember NEVER look at a exposed powered up UV tube.
You may go blind...

Thanks
I already have a fitted internal filter (Juwel), so any recommendations for
a powerhead/pump to drive ithe pressurised filter ?
If I did this, I'd be using my old Bioforce 1100 filter and Vorton 4500,
both are external. So would it be powerhead - filter - UV ?
Also, does the powerhead just sit on the gravel ?
Sorry for all the questions.

Sorry for butting in here, but what size of tank are you running? Its just that a bioforce 1100 seem a little like overkill here especially if you need to purchase a powerhead anyway. IMO a good (Ehiem type) external filter would provide better filtration and allow a mixed media for bacteria growth. Correct me if I am wrong but the bioforce allows for sponges only?
The uv should be fine if the fishtails will fit. You should aim to circulate the volume of water in the tank at least once every 2 hours (I hr for heavily stocked or Discus)
I have just purchased a Vorton aquarium filter (8w) from Ebay for the grand sum of 16 ukp. It needed a new lamp and the quartz sleeve was chipped but I replaced these and noticed that the parts were identical to a similar UV I have on my garden pond, so yours should be OK. I use UV then Filter in both my pond and main tank. Best suck it and see!
Hope this advice is useful. Too bad if not :-)

Tank is only 240ltr with it's own built-in internal biofilter.
It's just that the 1100 will be lying about once I've replaced the 2200 with
the 4500 and moved the 2200 to the smaller pond where it was originally.
If it could be used for the tank, I may as well get a Bioforce 4500UV
instead of a 4500.
