We appear to have a minor troll infestation. I keep seeing one stuck to
the tank glass and I'm hoping it's sensitive to copper. ;-) For anyone
new to Usenet or Google Groups, here is the troll FAQ. It tells how to
keep them from becoming a nuisance.

It's simple. No FAQ required. Don't reply. Ignore them. They're
simply trying to get a response. If they do, they've won. If you
suspect trollbait, just move on to the next thread. Delete the post
if you have to so you won't have to think about it.

Most newsreaders have a "filter" or "killfile" feature which can be set
to automatically ignore posts by a particular person, domain, or with a
particular word or phrase in the subject line. For a <30 sec a day
effort, you can keep the newsgroups you read practically spam and troll
"free." - Check your newsreader manual.

Many of these #@!$% change addresses almost daily. Try filtering on
"anonymous" and/or "remailer" - also on crosspostings. Gets rid of most
of it for me.
