Don't have the opportunity to get to the news group as much as I'd like at
this
point in my life but check in whenever I have a moment to do so. I have
taken
Marc Levenson's advice in this newsgroup and other places on the web during
the whole process and want to share my results. I have also done some study
on my
own and try other little things but basically this has been my results
taking Marc's
advice. I don't know if my reef is good, bad , or anything else but this is
the end
product after 6 months, you make your own decision who to take advice from.
But be careful because there's lot's of bad advice I believe. I lost a lot
of color in
the pictures by not turning the lights down and because I take really bad
pictures,
so actually, everything has lot's more color with the lights down a bit. I
set up the
tank the last week of March. Cycled the rock and sand for a month then put
in the
cleanup crew. They are all still alive and thriving. Then I added the fish
and corals
slowly over the next 3 months. The Elegance is the newest coral, had him a
month now.
I have not lost a single creature except a feather duster that my Coral
beauty just could
not leave alone. Other then that he has been a model citizen. Thank you
Marc, I like
my results so far !!

I'm happy that I have been able to help you through the first few months.

The mushrooms look very much like the Red Mushrooms I have. I'd label them as
such.
The unknown coral in the last picture (bottom left) are zoanthids, and you have
a very nice variety of them.

Stop by occasionally to give us further updates on how things are going. Or
just stop by to say hi. ;)
