Has any one heard or use this filter and if so how do you like it or do you have any complaints. I currently have a millennium power filter in a small mini reef aquarium and I do have a nitrate problem. Is Via Aqua a good buy for this problem that I have or is it a waste of $$$.

you would do better to skip all mechanical/bio filtration and get a HOB skimmer alone, you
havent said how big your nano is, but I have used prizim's on many smaller tanks with
great success(7gal - 25gal), the only catch is there way over rated it wont handle a 50gal
and its rated for something like 90~100gallons , and require some break-in for both the
skimmer and the user.

Ive played with the via aqua its compariable to the prizim in skimming power, and has
options like UV/bio filters/mechanical/chemical, all of which are not really desired on a
reef, and even less so on a nano.
