Is it possible that the plump little < 1/8" five-armed white creature is
really a starfish? It was scooting around the glass surprisingly fast.
I certainly didn't put in the tank, so I assume it came with the rock
or sand. I assume you have all seen such stuff and I shouldn't be
surprised. Is that true?

Baby starfish are kinda common, but they don't grow up to be giant ones.
Typically if you see a few, you'll have more later on. One tank I saw had them
in plague proportions, but since it wasn't my tank I found them very interesting
to look at.
