View Full Version : Blue goldfish?

Recently my girlfriend saw some blue goldfish while away with work. She was
unsure if they are indoor goldfish, or can be kept in a pond. Does anyone
have an idea what species of goldfish are blue, and what their environmental
needs are?
Furthermore does anyone know of a UK dealer who stocks them? East Anglia if
possible.
Thanks

I think what you may be looking for are shubunkin goldfish. They are good
pond fish. ~ jan

I have four Blue Phoenix. Great fish. They are good outside, but I have
never left mine outside the entire winter. As far as care is concerned,
they are Goldfish and get along well either in the pond or Aquarium.

Blue goldfish are shubunkin - I've had some in my pond for years. They do
well here in NJ.

I'm in Ontario, Canada. A couple of years ago Blue Orandas seemed to be
very popular. I haven't noticed any around in awhile though.
